Tenet 2020
I am so impressed. Crazy indulgent. Nolan has basically given into every one of his fantasies, and builds a masterpiece cult movie that inevitably won’t be appreciated by everyone. I thought I wouldn’t be, but I am a big fan. Even though he has stronger movies this is already joining my other favorite movies. Crazy soundtrack too. Every detail is accounted for, and some of the lines are so powerful. Once you start to understand everything aligns in such a satisfying way

On second watch this has matured a lot in my mind. Once I edited stuff I didn’t like, it became something really unique and full of depth. Again the way it’s critical of the sex trade is encouraging. I love the character development of Anora as well, and the ending is emotionally impactful. Every moment feels like a rush there’s nothing quite like it!
