Probably a 2 star, but gave it a half star bump bc I love 12 Angry Men. The premise is pretty interesting but the writing is weak - which is sad bc this is like an All Star roster of actors and actresses

Batman Begins 2005
The best balanced superhero movie I've ever seen. Dark, but not brooding, this movie marked the beginning of and is still the paragon of the gritty, dark superhero genre. Although not as ambitious as its sequel, Batman Begins better balances plot, character development and action for the perfect rewatchable. While The Dark Knight leans on a historically breakthrough performance to earn its place in movie history, excusing some pretty cheesy action and meandering plot lines, it's hard to nitpick Batman Begins and to me, it stands as the better archetypical superhero movie.
