Underwhelming!
A Mary Shelley-esque drama, I’d like to think had Frankenstein’s monster been loved and cared for, he’d have grown to become Godwin Baxter. Only, Godwin Baxter’s father did keep experimenting on his body and didn’t show love in an acceptable way or at all. Some paradox.
The visuals felt like you are walking inside a child’s fantastical imagination. Flying trams, breathtaking sunsets, poverty augmenting in a dessert near the sea, Yorgos Lanthimos has created a world where you’d want to…
I wish I could watch it again like I’m watching it for the first time.

Park Chan Wook has done it again. Decision to leave is about a detective infatuating over one of his suspects.
Things I loved in the film, the meticulous execution of intimacy between Hae-jun and Seo Rae on the grounds of comfort rather than lust. The flawless transitions, just when you’ll think that Wook can’t. top this transition you’ll get another in a matter of minutes. The emotions, most powerful of all the sharp pang of void it leaves you with.
