Amazing plot twist at the end makes up for the rest of the movie being ok.

The Final Destination 2009
Very much seemed like a forced entry. Being a standalone was dumb. The 3D movie era gimmicks and cg sfx were terrible. Just an ok entry into the franchise. The pool death was gnarly though.

This is specifically a review of the so-called remaster.
About 20 minutes in I had a stroke of genius. I took my glasses of so I wouldn't see the shitty upscaling clearly. The up close shots of characters were mostly fine but any wide, establishing or scenic shot was downright ugly. Like it was just polygons and trapezoid looking characters.
What a scathing indictment of corporations to take a movie about the over capitalization of artistry and how it sucks…
