The awkwardness, the nerves, the excitement, and ultimately the angst of goodbye. It found ways of making the “man and a woman find a spark but have to say goodbye” trope refreshing and stimulating. I think a lot of the beauty in the dialogue is displaying the two’s distinct way of expressing maybe not super deep and profound, but non shallow feelings and thoughts while acknowledging the awkward, excited, nervous setting that they’re engulfed in but not overwhelmed by, even giving it space.
Much closer to a 4.5 than a 3.5.
