  Objectively drunk writing this review and I think this was a good movie but was surprised this won so many Oscar’s. I thought it was good and touched on class which I appreciated but it was 100% a movie made by a dude about women.

  Beautiful film. Perfectly shot. Countless quotes. I do not understand how anora won? (I do it’s bc they paid 18M for marketing to get Oscar votes) 

  The focus on women being acknowledged, nurtured, and appreciated in the church was well done. It felt somewhat subtle but the last shot of the film was thoughtful.
