  Truly makes one who grew up in the early 2000’s feel seen unlike anything else I’ve seen before. Incredible soundtrack, love the film style it felt very of the era.

  Let me preface this by saying I have not read Queer and cannot speak to how well it was translated to the screen. But I do believe any book turned movie loses some of its subtlety and nuance. 

  I thoroughly enjoyed many aspects of this movie, especially the performances of Craig and Starkey, who managed to say more with their bodies than with their words. Both performances enabled the characters to be dynamic, flawed, and deeply relatable at times.

  Ok convinced kubs could have been in on the moon landing. But my GOD did we need so much b roll? Maybe my attention span is shot but I found myself fast forwarding through some of it.
