  やばいやばいやばい。多分「白鯨」の影響で、僕は海をすごく理想化したイメージで捉えていた。でも逆に、このドキュメンタリーは産業的な印象がある。タイトルは「Leviathan」で、アメリカ北東部が舞台なんだけど、「白鯨」とこのドキュメンタリーにはどんな関係があるのだろうか。
  他にも感想はあるけれど、つい「白鯨」の話になってしまう。作風の中で水面と水中の関係が引き込まれる。鳥は聖書的な存在として描かれている。

  can’t believe my ass had this at TWO stars. hits different when you’re one of a handful of single people in a theater full of couples.

  -a star for the “jazz is dying” gimmick and an uneasy transition into the dramatic act from the musical act — i was caught a little bored for a second.

  with this, damien chazelle had one of the most stunning directorial visions of the 2010’s. definitely a very moving picture.
