  The second half mirrors the frenetic energy of a Billy Wilder screwball comedy where James Cagney has to deal with his boss's daughter marrying a communist. Heck, we even get to hear Toros exasperatedly count off: “One, two, three!”

  Apparently the team that conducts these hit man sting operations is also responsible for investigating the town's homicide cases. "I don't think she is lying." Great! Case closed.

  Excellent psychological horror that evokes a deeply melancholic mood.

  Lots of terrific moments, particularly whenever Alice gets stalked. There's a superbly edited sequence in which she's being followed down an empty dark street and another one where she goes for a swim in a deserted swimming pool. Both really tense scenes with great buildup.

  It's also an incredibly good-looking movie with great direction of light and shadows. Who came up with those backlit drafting tables?
