There’s something transactional with most interactions women have with men. No im not a misandrist but the main character of this movie is someone who has grown up with a predator in her own home and throughout the story encounters other similar men.

First saw this when I was a kid, not sure how or where or why but I do remember making a journal entry about it that said:

“Tom cruise is handsome but mean, Andrea told me she’s never heard of this movie but I think it’s because she just has bad taste.”

So besides this movie being obviously amazing, it brought me back to that entry and how I was snobby then and am still snobby now. Some things never change.
