I liked the idea of the camera work showing things through the "ghost's" point of view, but they never did anything that interesting with it.
The most captivating aspect of the movie was exploring the family's relationship/dynamic but with such an undercooked story, all of the "horror" elements just kinda fell flat and it never felt like there was something large at stake.
extra half star for Lucy Liu's blood curdling scream at the end... the only genuinely terrifying moment in the whole movie.
"heineken" made me laugh harder than it had any right to.

Very relatable as someone who was an awkward, alienated, terminally-online teenager trying to navigate the world and all of the anxieties that come with it; something I think all of us can relate to on some level.
I loved the use of UI being shown on screen. I think the film did a fantastic job of using it as a tool for plot development as well as comedy. It’s so easy for that kind of thing to come off as tacky or gimmicky, but they really nailed it.
