  I feel like I could write a book about my feelings towards this movie. I love murder mysteries, films in ultra-rural settings, the pre-Yellowstone works of Taylor Sheridan, Jon Bernthal, Jeremy Renner, most of the cast honestly. Even with the underwhelming direction and cinematography it's a beautiful movie, filled with tension and literally breathtaking environments.   Maybe I just really like action schlock (I definitely do) but I enjoyed this film way more than I expected to. Looks great, sounds great, Vin Diesel gives it his best shot, which is all I can ask for.

  I don't think I've ever hated a movie this much. Pretentious, ugly, boring, long. A slog through the most boring fever dream you've ever had. Boring is the word I most often return to. Boring and frustrating and boring and pointless and boring.

  I think I thought I liked this movie. Now I'm pretty sure it's just four very good actors giving great performances while the movie itself, eh, it's not so good. I think this is one of those times I'm just gonna have to blame the weed for my enjoyment of the film.
