  This was fun and visually interesting enough where it feels like a good time, and it is! With so much potential for creating conflict and chaos, though, l ended up feeling underwhelmed at the end of the movie. Holding out hope for a sequel that can pick up this concept and run with it to see how truly existential and catastrophic this story could be.

  This movie is one of my all-time favorites. A beautifully made film that also has one of the best monster reveals I can think of. Relieved there’s no longer a VCR in my home.

  Not sure an inflight movie was the best venue for my first revisit of this film since theaters, but it didn’t make it any less of an enjoyable viewing experience. Fun to pull out even more subtleties and layers that I missed the first time. And that soundtrack!!
