Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992
Like horrifying in the exact way you would expect after watching the show. The whole thing was so psychologically upsetting & I kept waiting for the second shoe to drop & be just absolutely actually scared. But it never did! And honestly just leaving the movie feeling that unsettled without any real big climax kind of speaks for itself.
Also! Sheryl Lee is simply so gorgeous! Wish she had some other big-time roles after the Tweaks run.

Dune: Part Two 2024
i liked this one more than the first one a lot. more intriguing story in my opinion. the characters were more interesting & the character development made the movie engaging.
unfortunately, i couldn’t get past Paul’s “most special boy” syndrome. i can’t tell if the audience is supposed to find him wildly obnoxious, but truly he made the movie worse for me.
also, i thought looked at the time about once an hour, but it turned out to be every 15…
