Wicked 2024
Honestly I enjoyed this movie more than I thought I would! Fantastic performances all around!! The director loves Wicked too much though methinks, the plot was still not as well balanced as it could have been in Act 1. I loved the musical/dance numbers, and the visuals were stunning. However, the added pauses and little quips were unnecessary time sucks. It was funny and interesting the first few times but then by defying gravity I felt like the pauses took all the air out of the power of the song, which is disappointing given that Cynthia Erivo killed that song!
