While the intention may be good, I think the writer was trying to tackle too (and heal) too many societal problems all at once. And I’m not saying that it’s unrealistic (because it can be! And it may be for lost people), it was just too much for the movie length, that they didn’t have time to properly resolve each issue. The cuts and pivots felt a little too jarring in some scenes.
But overall, a feel good coming-of-age movie.…

Four Sisters and a Wedding 2013
What a star-studded film! Shaina's role was overshadowed though. I wish they could have given her more backstory than being an old maid.
Also, I think they gave too much interest/anticipation on who the girl Enchong's character is going to marry. I, as a viewer, expected so much and was, sadly, disappointed. VERY disappointed.
What else? Uhm. I feel like this was a Bea movie. She's the star. Her drama is the core.
Angel's acting, compared to her co-stars, was meh.
