It does not compute. They are completely different humans to me. From different planets. It’s uncanny valley AND I CANNOT EXPLAIN IT OTHERWISE.

Okay, so, I really did like this for the most part. I have one serious issue, and that's what gives it a 3 for me.
The end of this movie is too happy. It's too neatly and nicely tied off. It almost eliminates the very serious social issue the entire film spends its time on. A boy tries to kill himself because he feels so ostracized for his sexuality. He's like 12. And then, in the next scene, we find…
Why am I crying in the club right now
No, but really. It's the best kind of tragedy. It's the fourth wall. It's dramatic irony. It's knowing what's coming for the main character before he does.
MJ's life is a flawed one. His story is full of undeniable talent, creativity, and shame. I'm glad the former shine through in this last look at his life. There will always be scandal. There will always be his demise. But there will always be this, too. And I think, to separate the genius, even for a moment, is fascinating.
