  Embarrassing to review this movie on Valentine's Day - I hope this isn't held against me some time in the future. I really liked it. I think the movie is perfectly crafted for a high-schooler me, and while everything doesn't exactly click anymore I completely appreciate what they were going for and think it works quite well. 2.5 for the story which is alright but elevated due to how seriously they take it. Even though everything is played for gags…

  Did not expect this to be so funny going in. I mean I didn’t see any promotional stuff so I just assumed it was a really depressing movie. Enjoyed it a lot. Favorite character was Igor but maybe that’s because the New York accent is a little grating. My only irk was that the dialogue between the twenty-somethings was sometimes annoying. In particular the first candy shop scene.
