The first part of this movie is brilliant. The execution of the follow-up feels a little lacking, but probably only because the first half is impossible to follow up. The star-studded cast really delivers. This movie answers most of the questions it puts forward but also gives the viewer space to think. Unfortunately, one of the empty spots in this plot, relating to Benedict Cumberbatch's character, seems like it was forgotten rather than left intentionally open-ended.
Nonetheless an entertaining ride that cannot be recommended enough.

I've been waiting a while to see this movie, and i must say that I missed some parts because I was on an airplane, but it is overall a very powerful story about finding redemption through purpose and the complicated dynamics of family. A film that is very visually striking. Not a must-watch, but definitely another nice addition to Saoirse Ronan's catalogue

This wasn't the strongest movie month for me, so I thought I'd finish it off with what everyone agrees is a certified classic. In case it wasn't clear, I am part of everyone, because this movie is excellent. A heartfelt tale about a family. Not all questions are answered, but Wim Wenders seriously examines America.
