WTF IT IS SO GOOD!
A Filipino classic for a reason, and what better way to watch this film than during Women’s Month and with my girlfriends? It makes me appreciate the progress our society has made over the last few decades. I can’t imagine being stuck in that old world, where people were forced to conform to rigid gender roles.
This is a must watch for every woman in her 20s!

Recommended by a good friend, and honestly, I’m so glad I gave this a shot. When they say movies can change your life, this is one of those for me.
The cinematography and storytelling in this film are just too good. And the soundtrack? I’m still gagged. Xavier Dolan used Wonderwall by Oasis and Born to Die by Lana Del Rey in a way that isn’t cringe at all, just pure emotion.

I couldn’t help but get emotional and cry over this film. I’ve always believed in the saying, “Talking doesn’t always mean we’re communicating,” and that’s exactly what this film conveyed.
Although I love The Wild Robot so much, I now understand why Flow won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Rewatching it in the cinema was a pleasant experience.
