Eventho this is only my second Ruben Östlund movie watch, ig the guy loves questioning societal norms and ideas that are held morally right in everyone's mind.

"A man is supposed to protect his family (ie wife and children) selflessly in the face of a disaster. And if he doesn't, he should own up to it, admitting that he is less of a man."

I'm thinking the ending is what that really questions this idea by putting in the 'gender reversed' scenario. Anyways, it was a brilliant movie, loved the acting.

Shoutout to Spikima Movies for being the best YouTube movie analyst channel out there and for making me discover this awesome movie through the latest video on 'blink and you'll miss' technique used in cinema (particularly horror films).
This movie takes that technique to a whole another level, executed perfectly with the direction and screenplay.
I got spoiled by the whole concept, story and the mystery imbedded before watching this, but it still was an amazing experience. Definitely one of the best horror movies ever made and also the creepiest war movie made.

Even if we don't find the light in the darkness, we have to get on with our lives with what we can imagine as light.

    Undercooked.
    Has no flavour.
    And lacks presentation.
