  1999 was an excellent year for movies. Someone even wrote a book about it. You bet I read that.

  ‘99 was an excellent year for teenage movies as well, unless your movie featured teenagers dying.

  Itchy, creepy, gory, shocking body horror with a strong underlying message about generational trauma.

  Holy crap is Kelly Marie Tran amazing in this. I had no idea just how TV-MA this was going to get. It ticks so many trigger boxes.

  Minus one half star for kind of still being about a man and having a baby.
