  some really cool cinematography choices in between some really mediocre acting by pretty much everyone other than doherty and emmanuel. still would have unfortunately folded for the hot vampire, though.

  how tf have i not seen this movie until now??? so captivated the entire way through - julie andrews is truly such a star (but we knew that). the cinematography is so so stunning and soft and ethereal, i’m obsessed!! the maria reprise as she walks down the aisle?! 😭 literally held my breath from the festival scene through to the end. no notes.

  this was good, but i’m gonna say it: it tried too hard to be sexy and ended up not actually sexy enough (for me!!!). the tone was confusing throughout the whole thing - are we supposed to laugh here, or feel awkward? was this scene supposed to be hot or unsettling? i get that that’s the nature of the relationship itself, but it made for (at times) a lackluster viewing experience. it started off so strong and there were some…
