once again i liked the villain and the antihero wayyyyy more than michael keaton’s batman, but luckily danny devito’s penguin and michelle pfeiffer’s catwoman were more than enough to keep me entertained. this movie was so strongly giving the 90’s addams family movie adaptation and i LOVE that. i really love tim burton’s style it’s so cool man

the joker seriously makes the batman. i don’t think i would’ve liked this movie even half as much if it weren’t for jack nicholson. i didn’t think id like anyone else’s joker as much as heath ledger’s but nicholson’s was incredible in a completely different way. i also love how tim burton’s movies are so distinct, something about the colors and the way the sets always look. love it sm. also, lando calrissian!
