I put off watching this film for so long because I was not sure that I could sit through a two and a half hour period drama. It is hands down the best one ever made by Qazaq filmmakers (even with the annoying Russian dub and occasional overacting).

The film is a conspicuous promotion of the friendship of nations in the country where people of different ethnicity, culture, and religion do not just co-exist peacefully, but actively help each other.
