Literal perfection. I do not even know where to begin.
For starters, having no men around for two hours was the absolute dream. Women!!!!
I cannot get over how carefully and beautifully done everything was - the cinematography, the writing, the acting (everything was in the vibes) and the painful symbolism and irony in so many of the scenes (iykyk).
i don’t think anything in film has caused me as much stress and anxiety as that opening sequence. my palms were sweaty af and my heart rate was definitely up. i’m pretty impressed with tarantino for that masterful sequence.
everyone was brilliant in this - but shout out to christoph waltz, no one did it like you king.
also - bridget really thought brad pitt’s cowboy american vibe could convince razor sharp nazis that he was italian. i cannot get over how unserious they were about this (although to be fair it was hilarious)???
‘I was whelmed’ - Cedrick outside the Sun Theatre.
Amazing performance by Timmy T to say the least. For someone who doesn’t enjoy biopics that much, this was actually decent. There was a lot of caucasian cultural connecting going on in the packed cinema (we were the only ethnics).
Justice for blowin in the wind. The only Bob Dylan song I knew before I watched this and it’s an absolute banger - why so much hate Bobby.
I didn’t understand…
