  Godzilla vs. Kong 2021

  It’s a fine film in the sense that one can enjoy it,  bu there’s nothing particularly interesting or clever, even in the fight scenes.

  Yes, I believe monster movies can say something. In the history of Godzilla and Kong movies, one thing stands out: humans fuck with nature and get in deep shit because of it. I wouldn’t say that’s a theme here or even the premise of the story.

  Pretty fun. Some of the jokes are clangers, others brilliant. Fantastic creature design. Lots of blood.

  After careful introspection I decided to hate this movie. 

  The thing about watching movies as a hobby is that you aren’t really forced to watch movies you don’t think you’ll enjoy. In fact, the opposite is mostly true. I only really watch movies I think I’ll enjoy. As of today, I still haven’t watched Jack and Jill, and I don’t think I ever will, because I’ll hate it.
