While Quan is a phenomenal actor and I did enjoy the color grading, this movie lacked development and depth. Major plot points were spoiled at the very beginning and there was no attempt at subtlety throughout the film. The characters were also flat and sometimes even fell into stereotypes. While this film sounded promising, I’m saddened by how it was executed.
