  how do u give ur villain the name “knuckles” and expect me NOT to think about sonic…
  outside of some well-choreographed fight scenes and a couple of likeable characters, this movie was honestly disappointing. it felt like a first draft, not a final production — everything was very disjointed. the dialogue was stilted and awkward, it relied heavily on telling you what to feel rather than showing you and making you feel it, storylines and characters felt half-baked and underdeveloped. i didnt feel that there was any depth or authenticity of feeling — it lacked humanity. missed the mark

  watched this with my friend while drinking a high noon and hitting my pen on the floor of my studio apartment in boston. so it’s like a middle-class white girl version of saltburn

  interesting enough movie and beautiful scenery but if i want to watch barry keoghan play an obsessive murderer who infiltrates a troubled family, im putting on “the killing of a sacred deer”

  depressing and stupid and moving and heartbreaking and funny and intimate all at once. i knew from barry that bill hader is skilled at playing broken characters, but i had never seen kristin wiig in a role like this before. i honestly think this is one of my favorite portrayals of mental illness and family relationships in film
