Amazing how this documentary intertwines the high stakes drama of the fight and the cultural backdrop of America and Zaire in the 70s.
It does make you sad about the current state of boxing when we used to have culturally infused settings now replaced by soulless atmosphere-less Saudi Arabia

Apocalypto 2006
Unflinchingly brutal and thrilling action which captures the violence of Ancient Maya civilisation without restraint. The use of Ancient language and immersive costume/set design makes this film epic and real . It has some of the most violent and shocking scenes I have seen making it a unique viewing experience.
