I forget how GOOD this is. Just a smart, taught, well-acted, well done movie. The big pic had it right when they said nowadays this would be a tv show and it would suck.
Side note…2007 doesn’t seem like that long ago but everything here seemed ancient.

I see what he was trying to do, but this story definitely did not age well. One thing I do appreciate is that even with something problematic, he doesn’t make any attempts to justify or glorify it. He simply depicts it as the part of the story.
