  a beautiful response to the nihilists of the world. a lot of mother daughter movies coming out rn but this one was special to me because it showed the mother’s struggle to understand those around her. it’s a response to all the people fighting to control the world and leaving no room for error.

  i loved the way this was shot. the entire theater was cackling the first two parts and was almost completely silent towards the end. it was everything, truly, it had every theme and genre. and yet, it didn’t feel like a mess. a good rewatch is needed.
