  It’s just a fun pool movie. It doesn’t try to be the greatest movie ever, but it is a pretty great film. I’ll rewatch it anytime!

  It hits some high points, and it falls short on some others. It was mentally stimulating and a little too long. It is too “inside baseball” and it knows it and leans into it, and idk if it makes it better. I don’t get the Kathleen Keener obsession.

  I thought there were some well animated scenes! I thought the script was weak at points, but I had plenty of laughs. It felt like a strong 60 minute animation stretched into 90 minutes. I had fun during a couple of needle drops. I want Daffy Duck to be my wingman.

  I thought the film was excellent. I love that it is a period piece, I think it had a lot of really great shots, and I think the acting was powerful. I hate that Davey Crocket motherfucker, standing on the front of a little row boat trying to look cool, fumbling luggage.

  Edit: The dialogue is phenomenal too, I’m glad it was all in French. It makes the lines feel stronger.
