  My best picture prediction. Very dramatic and catty, much like I imagine a real conclave is like. Took what my mom would call a "woke" turn, but I think it was a beautiful examination of the modern Catholic Church and what it means to be a believer. I thoroughly enjoyed this film and all the performances. Call me crazy, but this is Stanley Tucci's weakest performance in a long time. Fiennes, Lithgow, and Rossellini are fabulous.

  "Wood or steel, a point is still a point"

  What an epic film. It's massive. The score, the acting, the sets, it all blows away. Denzel Washington speaks with such a rhythm that makes this feel like a period-accurate adaptation. Loved his character's motivation and arc. Paul Mescal the man that you are.
