One of the best animated series in recent memory. Starts slow and takes its time to build the characters and introduce a ton of interesting threads. Around episode 5 it takes off and everything starts coming together in an amazing way.
Amid the beautiful art style, incredible world building and imaginative concepts, its the characters that truly shine. Not to say the incredible setting and concepts are relegated to the background, on the contrary, the world building puts the focus on the characters and their individual personalities and stories.
Excellent series and a must watch for any fans of sci-fi, ecological world building or space exploration.
