Captain America: Brave New World 2025
Nothing short of disappointing for me, kept asking myself whether I wanted to leave early or not. Several other people left early.
Loved the fighting scene at the White House and things here and there. It felt like a mix of Winter Soldier and Civil War (sprinkled with Eternals). Broadcast News 1987
FWIW, I enjoyed this drama rom com (if you can call it that) more than I thought I would. I thought the 1st half was campy at best but the 2nd-3rd acts were intriguing (and good). Whole cast was great. You can feel the strain of working at a news station with all its drama and romance.

The unwanted sequel that didn’t need to exist. Denzel gave a good performance. Pedro and Paul both gave “interesting” performances. Neither are like Crowe or Phoenix from the masterpiece. Fresh 1994
A 90’s crime noir film about a kid trying to escape the gang life. Gritty. Realistic. Dark. Simple.
I loved the symbolism of Fresh and Sam playing chess, similar to Fresh figuring out his next moves to escape his crime ridden life. Superb cast with Fresh being the central star. The use of the city and on shot location is great. Camera angles for certain shots is good.
