This is such a good movie.
It's dumb, sure. It takes liberties with lore and stuff, but in '93 there wasn't much to draw upon.
But then you get to the distopian cyberpunk-esque Dinohattan, chock full of whatever references they could squeeze in. Everyone is having a great time. The goombas are full blown shrunken headed dinos. Yoshi is straight up a mini theropod.
And no Crisp Rats.

This almost seemed like something passable, if you could suspend disbelief of Tara Reid being an anthropologist and Christian Slater phoning it in big time, as a movie up until that one bullet time scene. You cannot convince me Uwe Boll is not just three 12-year Olds stitched together because to put THAT SCENE to film and think it was badass? Yeah nah. Not to mention how he historically handles criticism of his films 🤔
House of the Dead was enjoyably bad. I dunno if I can say the same for this...
