The Wind Rises 2013
this film, while pretty to look at, completely ignores the very damning reality that it's titular character knew exactly what he was doing when building his "beautiful planes." he does not and cannot claim to simply be a something of a "misunderstood" dreamer and frankly, the mere suggestion of this is incredibly out of line (especially when you consider the fact that miyazaki is a staunch "pacifist").
bonus points for zero mention of the enslaved korean child workers used in the nagoya manufacturing plants.
