Take Out 2004
Every Sean Baker movie I've ever watched has made me want to kms but I can never look away.
Similar to how Starlet tells the story of a beautiful porn star, yet watching scenes of her engaging sexually is so mechanically un-sexual, Take Out features dishes I know I would eat in a heartbeat, but they look so bad in this they make me nauseous. Baker has a gift for making the products of labor I would otherwise consume look repulsive.
