  I get it—it’s hella real world violent and they say fuck a bunch. If I had been engaged with this whole trilogy or the X-men films after X3 when this originally came out I would have been hyped for this just like everyone else. Especially compared to the first Wolverine movies.

  This was actually more interesting than I expected. I knew shades of the story but getting full picture was good. Fuckin scam ass old white dudes. Smh. 

  I think many moviepass users, especially early ones knew that there was no way this was sustainable. Like I vividly remember saying it to my movie buddy “dude this doesn’t make sense.”  

  I also remember the rungs of the downfall like having to take a pic of your ticket stub etc.  had a great time while it lasted. Then amc released their own and it’s amazing. Glad the original founder is back in the game tho.

  It’s got that classic 60s fast talky space race energy in the beginning but by the third act it’s mostly abandoned that and shifted to a muddled mix of romcom dramedy space movie that runs long and doesn’t really carry the oomph it thinks it does. The ending would be amusing but by the time you get there you’re just like yea whatever.

  Not outright bad but somehow also barely worthy of meh. 

  horribly shot and complicated. Dumbshit writing that only serves getting from one overblown action sequence to the next with no real character development or depth.

  Bewildering to see how they can so drastically lose touch with the essence of what we love about this character and original movies. 

  Indy being charming and smart. Needs to find an interesting thing. Punches some people on the way. Done.
