I love fluid animation, good and diverse character personalities and designs, and the amazing and fantastical worldbuilting (as well as complicated father figures) that old movies like this one had.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2020
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It's a Sonic movie done right.
He's a lonesome kid here, so it's valid we don't have the cocky guy we love from the games. He isn't that guy (yet). Personally I don't see him becoming that guy (because he has his family (I love them) and that is okay) so this can be an origin story to a sonic that is more calm.
The humans are okay compared to the hedgehog and both characters we know and characters we meet for the first time are okay.
Ps. This movie isn't for everyone and that can be okay.
