I get that the epilogue is set in the 80s but that tonal shift was confounding

brutally sad. torturously beautiful. terrifyingly haunting. hilariously caustic. poignantly sensitive.

lynch's perfect balance of bewildered dream logic and lucid narrative

ecstatic. aching. I wanna show this to my friends

not a woman in sight, just rugged individualist men living in the moment.

Mr Leone sure knows how to make a film

can't really ignore how problematic it is, but i can't ignore how hard it rocks either... annoying cinephile college boys be damned.

everyone and their mother know why this film is great. for me, every moment simply felt right. nothing felt wasteful, it made me laugh my ass off, and captivated me the entire 2.5hr(!) runtime, all the way up to that extremely satisfying climax, complete with Samuel L. Jackson's exhilarating performance.

Mia Wallace is cool and all but Fabienne... Fabienne is so me

    ...could've done without the slurs.
