  Grew up loving this film and it hasn’t aged a day. Vijay Anand’s streak of Tere Ghar Ke Samne, Guide, Teesri Manzil, and Jewel Thief that lasted from ‘63 to ‘67. Good gracious.

  “I have never called this city home. I’m scared — what if I have to leave it?” 

  Loved how this film uses sounds, silence, sights, darkness, textures, glances, words, smiles, crowds, clouds, the sea, caves, graffiti, sundries. Seeped it in and felt cleansed afterward.
