Bodies Bodies Bodies 2022
Madness is contagious, human beings are intellectually stupid creatures and this film is a beautifully fun reminder of such violent truths. The ending had me laughing with a sardonic ache, when the fictitious absurdity of what I had just witnessed did nothing but remind me that reality is no more sane, but instead just as ridiculous and bizarre. Emotions, accidents and an ancient inherited shame of being "only human".... Nothing surprises me anymore.

Lying Eyes 1996
A premise for a potential 4 star, but felt more like a 3, until the ending solidified it as a 2. There was so much more that could've been added on a psychological level to fill this film out with intrigue, depth, tension and trauma. But alas, it was not meant to be. And ultimately, this isn't a film you'll go back to again.

Loved it! It's not a perfect film but it's a worthy sequel and it's extremely beautiful. But as Winona said, hopefully Lydia and Beetlejuice eventually get together. Let's make this franchise a trilogy (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) and end it properly!
