  Great film, wasn't confused at all. But I did avoid Nolan's tendency to mix "for the cinema" IE blowing out dialogue in favour of music and SFX.

  Watch it with subtitles and you'll be able to follow the film as it goes at 100km/h. It's packed of action and clever twists that fit neatly in the Nolan filmography.

  Half a star docked for not learning a lesson about mixing since Interstellar.

  A tear-jerking movie about a father dying to a disease and his little girl finding out. He abuses them because he is so stressed about dying, and keeping it all a secret. The movie has incredible acting, story, cinematography, although I don’t remember if the music was remarkable or not. It won the Jury Prize at the Festival des 5 Continents (and I was part of that jury, yayy)

  A charming take on the book (which I admittedly have not read), feeling like a Tim Burton movie at all times. Charming worlds, beautiful color palette as always, music is fantastic, characters are mysterious, weird, intriguing, twisted, fun.
