  Loved the gloomy gothic vibes but got bored halfway through. There was no tension or character exploration. It was just scenes of the girl having seizures and the vampire being a vampire.

  This film kind of made me see the beauty in mundanity but it also felt depressing at times. The reality of everyday life ah guess. I liked the symbolism - the twins, the black and white - although I’m not fully sure what it was getting at. Repetition? Duality? I plan to read some Williams Carlos Williams, so maybe I’ll find some clues there. 

  The pace was a little too slow for my liking and by the end I found Paterson and his gf really annoying so minus 1 star for that. Loved the Japanese dude though ♥️

  Wish I watched it on 2x speed (or not at all) because nothing happened except for in the last 5 minutes of the last episode where they suddenly develop the ability to communicate with each other 🙃
