only lost half a star because I would’ve liked to see a bit more on the technicality of the wrestling

but I have nothing else negative to say. this was so stunning, so interesting, so captivating.

I can’t believe how this has been snubbed, the performances were historic.

I haven’t stopped talking about this since I saw it. beautifully moving and memorable, I absolutely loved it.

devastated that he’s not a brother anymore

I hate to say it, I really wanted to like this.

love a raimi horror (his signature style scares and effects are just so classic and retro). love sandra oh.

this is just a silly horror film, it’s fun, it’s entertaining enough (especially for its run time, a plus). as someone who likes a crappy horror, I enjoyed it.

a lot more could’ve been done with the cultural/generational themes, and the story in general fell quite flat and felt hollow, they could’ve fleshed it out more even in the short run time.

still a fun watch though :)
