    For me, what best encapsulates this film and its dialogue is that it was like reading a poem. And when I read a poem, every line simply floats through my brain, leaving untethered. Perhaps this is the film most like real life that I've experienced, formed by fragmented chunks of events with peaks in emotion that fade back into mundanity, interspersed with long conversations that inevitably cause you to drift elsewhere.     A film that left me with big feelings and a whirlwind in my mind because of the surprises it kept dealing me. I kept searching for the titular monster, kept assuming, but of course in the end as the perspectives change, there really isn’t a single person you can pinpoint and perhaps the film tells us—it’s really society and the things it has led people to believe. 

    Some characters’ decisions confused me but I think they were all just people…
