  R.I.P.  to one of my favorite living actors, Gene Hackman. Although his performance in the conversation is my pick as the greatest screen performance of all time, I went with the birdcage tonight because this is one of my favorite performances of his, and it is one of my all-time comfort movies. Just a perfect movie.
