I love how these Giallo movies are basically dramatized Scooby-Doo episodes. This one legitimately has great cinematography and presents a captivating take on the genre. It’s the first Chinese Giallo I’ve seen and the only non-kung-fu film I’ve seen from the Shaw Brothers.

Phantom of the Paradise is so unapologetically bananas and ambitious that I can’t help but love it. What Brian De Palma is doing here from a writing and directing standpoint is insanely bold. Murder Mystery 2 2023
Caught an early screening. I’m unashamedly a huge Adam Sandler fan. I was probably laughing harder than anyone in the theater. Lots of great bits and I love the chemistry between Sandler and Aniston. There’s some legitimately really well done moments of action. The ‘Bang, Bang’ slow-mo sequence was excellent and blew me away (no pun intended).
